      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      The notification messages table grows quite quickly on large installations of JIRA. Need to create a service that deletes the notification messages after a configurable period of time (or never). After the notification messages are deleted the e-mails will be not be threaded - however, a lot of space could be saved.
