Suggestion:

In the History entries and also the email notification, implement the additions and deletions formatting similar to the Confluence notification

e.g. Additions highlighted in Green and Deletions highlighted in red.

This will help in quickly identifying what has changed in a story without having to do a compare of the before and after state.

It would also be good if the emails displayed the actual formatting rather than the formatting marks, to improve readability.
