      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      When creating an issue, users are able to use the Configure Fields button (which cannot be easily disabled, cf. JRA-27707). This can be used to disable required fields, causing support headaches for JIRA admins. Please add logic to prevent this.
