Ability to customize/expand status lozenges colour

We have recently upgraded to JIRA 6.2.3 (from JIRA 5.1) and so all our original status images have since changed to the colour lozenges.

Broadly, this is a nice change, however there are too few lozenge colours available to meet all our different states.

We desperately need the ability to set different lozenge colours across multiple projects - for instance, we run test case management through JIRA, there are two 'end' states, 'Passed' or 'Failed', at the moment these are both green which makes it harder to rapidly spot the failed ones in a list and is a definite visual regression.

Even if the lozenges were just expanded to include the Atlassian standard ones this would be a great help! :
