Versions do not work if users do not select the Autocomplete options

    Description

      NOTE: This bug report is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding bug report.

      Users can type in a version without selecting the matching autocomplete suggestion. If an user does not select the appropriate version from the Autocomplete list, then JIRA will not recognize the version.
