      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      There's a bug described at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-26407 since JIRA 4.4 which needs to be worked around by most plugin developers working on a project administration page.

      The documentation at https://developer.atlassian.com/display/JIRADEV/Project+Configuration+Locations should be updated to mention the bug and the workaround needed so plugin developers can find this information more easily.
