      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Please add the ability to set start date when using the Jira REST API. I programmatically create versions (previously in Jelly, but I can do this now in REST), but there's now way to set the start date. Without setting a start date, the burndown charts in Greenhopper don't display. So I have to manually go through our dozen projects and manually set a start date for every 2 week sprint I create.
