I see in the documentation that searches can only be performed by whole words.

Because of this, if I have email submissions from joe.smith@example.com, I can search for "joe.smith@example.com", but there's no way to find all submissions from "example.com".

Could the indexer be changed to index both joe.smith@example.com and example.com in this case?

(This is not the same request as JRA-22941; that's asking to search reporters by domain name, while I'm asking to search comments and descriptions by domain name.)
