Resolution: Won't Do

NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.
when running the atlassian-jira-4.4-x64.bin installer if the installer finds that a user called jira already exists it will silently create a new user called jira1. This could be better if it asks the customer performing the install if they would like to ether use the existing jira user or create a new jira user with the name of jira1 (or anything else).
This is important for a few different reasons, first it creates confusion for the customers who want to use the user jira, when starting up jira 4.4 for the first time it will fail if they are running on the assumption that their old jira user or root will work to start up their install. It does not prompt the customer to think about file permissions for the newly created user until a failed jira startup. Also if the customer is installing jira many times on the same system it will create lots of jira users and create lots of unnecessary admin work to clean up
