      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      JIRA currently limits the number of Lucene indexing threads to 10. JIRA servers with more than 10 cores and beefy databases behind them could benefit from faster reindexing times by allowing this number to be increased, ideally via a key in the jira-application.properties file.
