Log files and similar technical information often contain special characters that, when pasted into the JIRA description or comment fields, are rendered as smileys in JIRA.
It is possible to avoid this by surrounding the problematic text in {quote}, but users often forget that.
Therefore it would be nice to have an option to disable the rendering of smileys.
