      file atlassian-jira.log is a moving target, it will be created in the CWD where the launch script is run and so on.
      Since log4j.properties can take variable substitution it would be handy to edit the Appender definition as in:

      log4j.appender.filelog.File=${catalina.base}/logs/atlassian-jira.log

      to pin the path to a reasonable location
