Due to JRA-10611, we have users who are manually unwatching hundreds or thousands of issues by clicking the "unwatch" link in the My Watches portlet. Each unwatch request seems to keep the server busy for a second or so, and when a user clicks down a long list of unwatch links it makes the entire server very slow to respond for all users. Either JRA-10611 needs resolution, or unwatching needs to be a faster operation.
