Windows: Investigate redirecting output of Tomcat

      NOTE: This suggestion is for JIRA Cloud. Using JIRA Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      On Windows, it is possible to redirect the stdout from Tomcat by starting it with:

      catalina.bat run 1>myfile.txt

      This is useful when attempting to capture threaddumps as the contents of the dump is outputted to the file specified.

      However, we need to investigate how to configure this for the startup.bat batch file also.

      It would be good to have all output redirected to a log file.
