Description
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a project with any user as the Lead
- Rename the username for the project Lead
- Go to project administration and click Edit Project
- Add some descirption for project
- Click Update
Expected Results
Project is updated
Actual Results
- Nothing happens, no error messages as well.
- Nothing in logs
Workaround
- Change the Project Lead to an user who has not been renamed
- Make the Project Edits
- Revert Project Lead back to original user
Note: it's not possible to determine if an user had been renamed in JIRA's interface, but you can check via the database table app_user. If the user_key does not match lower_user_name, then the username had been changed.
