Opening on behalf of customer:
When an issue is shared or a watcher is added, there is no log in the ticket history.
If JIRA is to be used as a support system, all transactions should be logged and visible, if it needs to be presented to a court of law in case of any end customer litigation involved.

JRACLOUD-32125 Request to Save History When Issue is Shared or Watcher is Added
- Gathering Interest
To ensure our process is mistake-proof it would be very helpful to know if the "sharing of an issue" was forgotten or if it was ignored. No way to do this unless the "sharing event" is added to the comments (but preferably to the history) of the issue. If it was added to the "comments" section then I think the user should have used the comments section with an "@" notification rather than the sharing function. Thus adding the "sharing event" would seem to be more appropriate to be added to the "history" of the issue rather than to the comments list. Thanks
