Parent Link field shouldn't allow users to select closed issues

      The Parent Link field (Portfolio for Jira) currently allows users to select issues that are closed. I cannot imagine a use case where this would make sense.

      As far as I know the Epic Link field doesn't allow closed Epics to be selected. And I suggest to make the Parent Link field behave in that way as well.
