    Description

      Problem Definition

Currently, the Portfolio Scheduler takes multiple factors into consideration for issues in the plan. This is detailed in Scheduling behavior. However, there may be plans, where users want this plan to strictly follow the issues priority.

One scenario would be that issues with lower priority would be worked on before issues with higher priority due to it having a low estimation. This could cause undesired outcomes when multiple issues of lower priority are created and so the higher priority issue is always delayed.

      Suggested Solution

Have a schedule option for the plan, that will allow for the strict following of issue priority and to ignore the estimation of the issue.

      Workaround

Use dependencies to make sure this issue is worked on first.
