      Problem Definition

Currently, if you assign a member to one or more teams, and the capacity they have for work is fixed to that team. The problem occurs when there is no work for them to do on one of their teams, but that extra capacity is "wasted" because Portfolio does not recognize this capacity could go to the work he does on other teams.

A concrete example of the problem occurs in this situation:

      • Member 'Dan'
      • Team A and Team B
      • Dan is a member of both Team A and B, with a capacity for 100pts a week in each
      • Team A is associated with Board A
      • Team B is associated with Board B
      • There is no work that can be assigned to Board A for Dan, thus his free capacity for work is still 100pts for Team A
      • There is a lot of work assigned to Dan from Board B, all 100pts of his Team B capacity is used up
      • The free capacity from Board A is not recognized as capacity available for Dan in Team B, bringing his actual capacity to 200pts

      Suggested Solution

Allow Portfolio to recognized capacity available for a team member dynamically within few Teams.
