      Environment

      Jira Cloud
      Portfolio for Cloud

      Problem

The dependency report does not list dependencies of a certain issue link type, even though it is properly configured in Portfolio's Dependency Settings

This happens for dependencies that are swapped, i.e., the dependency type description reads

      If A <something> B, then B is scheduled before A

and not ...then A is scheduled before B

These dependencies are still properly respected by the scheduling algorithm and also show up in the issue details page and schedule tooltip but they are missing in the dependency report.

      Steps to Reproduce

      • Create a plan based on a board
      • Add a dependency (Blocks, for example) to one issue and commit it to Jira
      • Recalculate your plan
      • Go to Portfolio settings > Portfolio Dependencies
      • Next to the dependency name, click Swap in order to make the settings be like If A blocks B then B is scheduled before A
      • Click the Save changes button
      • Go back to your plan and click Calculate button to recalculate your plan
      • Go to Reports > Dependencies

      Workaround

There is no workaround at the moment.
