Automation rules involving webhook errors does not trigger notification

      Issue Summary

      When an automation rules contains a webhook action, and if there are any errors related to this action, the result is no notifications are triggered.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Install Automation for Jira 7.1.15
      2. Setup an Automation Rule, such as the one below:

        Remember to set "email rule owner everytime rule fails".
      3. Execute the automation rule.
      4. Observe that the rule has some errors:

      Expected Results

      • Rule owner receives a notification related to failure, similar to one such as below:

      Actual Results

      • No notification emails are received.

      Workaround

      No known workaround yet.

      Other information

      • Tried to install Automation for Jira 7.1.0, to test whether it used to work for previous version. However, when on this version, audit logs always say that the rule is a success, even though there are failures:
      • Ignore "Affect version" for this ticket, as unable to select 7.1.15.
