      This is reproducible on Data Center: yes

      Add trigger for comments added via Incoming Email Handler. As per current design we have "Issue Comment" trigger which is generic trigger and we can not differentiate regular comments added directly on the issue from Jira Portal with the comments added to the issue via incoming email handler.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Setup Incoming email handler for Jira.
      2. Create an issue.
      3. Send an email to the mailbox configured as part of Incoming Mail Handler with the Issue ID of the issue created in Step 2 in the subject so that comment is to the ticket. 

      If you want to write some rule in "Automation For Jira" whenever there is "comment added via Incoming email" to the issue, there is no trigger.

      We have a trigger "Issue commented" but this is generic trigger and we can not differentiate if the comment is added directly on the issue from Jira Portal or the comment is added via incoming email.

      Expected Results

      It will be nice to have a trigger for the "Comment added via incoming email"

      Actual Results

      There is no trigger to differentiate comments added via incoming email

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
