Description
Issue Summary
When configuring an A4J Action to Create / Edit an Issue which involves an Insight CF - any Object can be set into the Insight CF! disregarding the CF configuration (Schema Assignment and IQL filters)
A4J v. 7.3.5
Steps to Reproduce
- Having Jira Admin Global permission - configure an Automation Rule (Project or Global Automation) with an action to create/ edit an Issue which has an Insight CF in it
- Add the Insight CF and type any search string for the Field Value search
Note that Objects may be listed from different Schemas. - Select ANY object (make sure it is not from the schema configured in the Insight Field Configuration)
- Publish the rule and trigger it
Expected Results
The non valid object cannot be selected to populate the CF in the Rule configuration.
If the Object IS selecteable, it should not be able to populate the Insight CF.
Actual Results
The Insight CF is populated with an Object which does not correspond to the Insight CF Configuration...
...
Workaround
Make sure to select the correct Object when configuring the rule.
In order to avoid undesired Object to populate - you may use the JSON Payload in the Automation Rule, to populate the Insight CF with a specific Object Key (details here)
