Automation rule trigger that will hit when an external Web Link URL is linked to an issue

      Issue Summary

      It is currently not possible to trigger a rule that will hit when an external WebLink URL is linked to an issue. WebLink URL can be created to an issue using more-->link–>Weblink.

      So far we could not find a corresponding trigger, as they seem to only trigger when an internal issue is linked in Jira.

      Suggestion

      Provide an option to trigger a rule when a Weblink URL is attached to an issue.

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
