Can we have a smart value to get the branch details (ie, branch name) ** in an individual commit?

These are some smart values that Jira supports for the source code management tool currently.

Currently we can get the smart values like {{branch.name}} and {{commit.message}} but it's not possible to get the branch details in an individual commit. For example, something like {{commit.branch.name}} to get the branch name in the commit will be ideal.

            This would be amazing

I wish it could be available too as suggested by Kathy ("commit.branch.name").
It's such a pity. Especially since the information is well available (for example) in the Jira / GitLab Integration's comment details.
Thanks in advance for your work and hoping this one could be done.

This would be very useful for our projects where we often want to update certain issues based on the branch they are being committed to.

For example if committing to a branch which has a version number in the name, we want to update that issue to have the fixVersion that matches.
