Problem Definition
Some customers are looking for a way to sync comments between a ticket and tickets linked to it. For example, if a comment is edited or deleted in a parent ticket, the same comment should be edited or deleted in the linked tickets.
Unfortunately, there is currently:
- no edited/deleted comment trigger, as per the feature request https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JIRAAUTOSERVER-127
- there is no action that allows to edit or delete a comment (as per this feature request)
Suggested Solution
Add to Automation for Jira an "Edit Comment" action and a "Delete Comment" action.
