Issue Summary
Whenever you configure a rule using the For Stories (or other issues in Epic) component, the rule will fail to execute if sub-tasks are disabled on the instance, while recording an error message in the audit log.
Steps to Reproduce
- Disable sub-tasks. (Jira Administration Icon > Issues > Sub-tasks > Disable sub-tasks)
- Create a rule that has the Stories (or other issues in Epic) component.
- Execute the rule.
Expected Results
The rule is able to be properly executed.
Actual Results
The rule fails and the following message is displayed:
Workaround
Remove all sub-task issue types and enable sub-tasks in your instance.
