Description
Synopsis
As a Jira administrator, I would like the ability to search the audit logs of my organisation's automation rules.
This would enable me to identify what automation rule triggered the change(s) on a specific Jira ticket.
For example, I create ticket TEST-12345. An automation rule updates said ticket between creation and the next time I look at it.
I would like the ability to search for TEST-12345.
Current functionality
At this time, to search which rule updated a ticket, a user must scroll through potentially hundreds of pages (depending on how many rules have executed since the ticket was changed).
Proposal
A search box added on the page with the ability to search by:
- ticket reference (e.g. TEST-12345)
- multiple ticket references, comma-separated
- a 'time picker' to search for all executions before, after, or inbetween dates and times
Alternative
Another, more lightweight suggestion would be to add another column to the audit log view which simply lists which ticket(s) were affected by the rule execution, making 'control-f' feasible
