Summary

Using the Jira Align API endpoint ( rest/align/api/2/ideas/ID?expand=true) for Ideas we can retrieve the data of ownerId and createdBy, but it is not possible to validate if the ID presented in the ownerId and CreatedBy ID is related to a Jira Align user or an Ideation Portal User only.

This limitation prevents users, whether Jira Align users or Ideation Portal Users, from automating the validation of idea owners.

Enhancement

It would be highly beneficial for users if the Jira Align API could enhance the Ideas endpoint by indicating whether the owner of an Idea or the user who created it is a Jira Align user or solely an Idea Portal user.
