Jira Service Management
Currently, when a new site or Sandbox is created within an Atlassian Organization, many features (such as Atlassian Intelligence, Rovo, and User Invitation permissions) are enabled by default ("Pro-Adoption" model).
For Enterprise organizations with strict compliance and data governance requirements, this creates significant administrative overhead. Admins must manually navigate to every new site to disable these features to prevent unauthorized data residency or access.
Suggested Functional Change:
Introduce a "Global Organization Policy" or "Governance Template" that allows Org Admins to:
- Define a "Disabled" default state for all new product instances/Sandboxes.
- Pre-configure User Invitation settings (e.g., "Only admins can invite") at the Org level so they are automatically applied to new sites.
- Ensure that "Opt-in" is the required path for all generative AI and collaboration features across the entire organization.
