Issue Summary
Currently, when an admin attempts to delete a managed account that is listed as a billing admin for a subscription, the error message displayed is generic and does not specify which subscription(s) are blocking the deletion. This lack of detail causes confusion and makes it difficult for admins to delete the account.
Steps to Reproduce
- Go to Atlassian Administration. Select the organization.
- Select Directory > Managed accounts.
- Select Show details for the account you want to delete.
- Select the more actions menu (•••).
- Select Delete account.
- If the account is a billing admin for any subscription, a generic error message appears.
Expected Results
The error message should clearly specify the subscription(s) where the managed account is listed as a billing admin, so admins know exactly what needs to be updated before deletion can proceed.
Actual Results
The current error message does not indicate which subscription(s) are blocking the deletion.
Workaround
Admins must log in as the user and manually check the billing pages (my.atlassian.com or admin.atlassian.com/billing) to identify where the user is listed as a billing admin.
If access is not possible, contacting Atlassian support is required.
