Description

By default, the majority of Atlassian APIs only work with tokens for authentication.

While it's a secure method, several companies already work with MFA for APIs, making security to be bound with additional devices and avoiding data leaking to compromise API usage right away.

Suggestion

This is a suggestion to include MFA as an authentication/security method for API usage, instead of only API tokens.
