Provide auditing information for changes to domain enabled signup(DES) that is retained beyond 180 days

Problem Definition

When a domain is added to the list of approved domains as per Approved domains, the change is logged in the org. audit log: Track organization activities from the audit log - however, the log retention is 180 days.

Suggested Solution

Introduce domain enabled signup(DES) auditing features on the "User access settings" page directly. Example: display inline with the domain - [domain_name] was added by [user_account_profile] on [date] via [specific_flow]

The idea would be to display some form of auditing information that wouldn't be subject to any log retention.

Why this is important

• DES is a free feature, but to get auditing information, Atlassian Access(paid subscription) is required
• The org. audit log retention period is 180 days - often admins won't notice until much later on that an approved domain has been added. They will be informed of such a change either by chance, increased bill or notification that a user is requesting/has been granted access
• There are multiple flows from which a domain can be added to the list of approved domains
• Extending the org. audit log retention would be nice - but how much longer would be sufficient? A domain could have been added years prior before being detected and the customer may not have Atlassian Access which is required to view the org. audit logs

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
