Delete accidentally created unmanaged accounts

      Problem Definition

      Sometimes, admins accidentally create new unmanaged Atlassian accounts, potentially in bulk such as via an API or provisioning with Atlassian Access.

      Suggested Solution

      Allow admins to delete unmanaged accounts that have never logged in and did not exist before the admin performed the action that deleted their account.

      Note that this is not the same as uninviting a user from a cloud site. We mean: delete the actual Atlassian account off the Atlassian Cloud platform.

      Why this is important

      This allow admins to better respect their user's privacy.

      Workaround

      There is no workaround at the moment. Contact Atlassian support to confirm.
