Unable to edit group description in site admin portal(old admin experience)

Issue Summary

The group description field needs to be modified in the old admin UI(site-admin portal). Once we attempt to add any text to the "Group description", it does not appear.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Goto site admin portal
2. Group
3. Open any group
4. Click on edit description
5. Type any text nothing shows up.
6. Hit save
7. No text in the description field.

Expected Results

Update text entered as a group description.

Actual Results

No text is saved in the group description field.
The existing group description is not editable.
