Summary
https://support.atlassian.com/security-and-access-policies/docs/export-users-from-a-site/
At present the CSV export article details User status with the following:
The status of the user in this organization:
- Active
- Suspended
- Deactivated
This is a little misleading for customers, as Active has a sub-context that is not explained in reference to a user CSV export. Active in this scenario can also mean that a user invite is pending acceptance and that the Last Seen In column should be consulted in addition to establish this.
For example a user account can have a User Status of Active, but Last Seen In can be Never accessed, which means that an invite would have been sent but never accepted. Active in this context means that the account is simply not Deactivated / Suspended.
To help differentiate this from the Admin > Directory > Status of Active (Which means that a user has actively logged into their account), we should include a panel note that states something like the following:
Note: An Active status combined with a Last Seen In value of Never accessed will mean that the user has not accessed their account / accepted an invitation.
(This is just an example, there maybe a better way to put this across)
