As an Atlassian Account owner we are able to delete our own accounts. As a result the deleted user will be removed from all Atlassian Sites they were members as well.

We are unable to self remove our accounts from an Atlassian Site without deleting the Atlassian account though. This task requires asking for site admin to perform the deletion. Admins can also add users to sites without user consent, which is way too much power.

In a Cloud Environment where a user can be part of multiple sites with a single account we should be able to remove ourselves from cloud sites should we do not want to be part of them anymore.

E.g.: As a user I would like it to be easier to have myself removed from open-source Jira site that has long been abandoned by the project owner without all the trouble of asking the site admin to do that, and without having to delete my Atlassian account.

This is really needed for Atlassian Partners! Thanks!
