Summary

As published in the Jira Cloud Platform changelog on January 18th, "the length of API tokens for Atlassian accounts, API keys, and Repository Access Tokens" has been extended.

Not all applications and integrations can handle the current 192 characters token and need more time to update their code to support the longer token. We are able to grant users a 90 day exception to let them generate tokens of 108 characters. This should give enough time for customers to raise feature requests with applications/integrations to handle tokens with varied length.
