Adding a user to the Org without sending an email invite updates the Invitation status as Invited.
Steps to reproduce:
Scenario 1:
- Log in to admin.atlassian.com
- From your organization, go to Directory > Users.
- Select Invite users
- Enter the Email address you want the user to log in with
- Grant product access
- Deselect Send invitation option
- Select Invite user(s).
Scenario 2:
Migrate users into the organization (e.g. server to cloud migration).
Expected Result:
Invitation Status should be Invited - Invitation not sent
Actual Result:
Invitation Status will be set to Invited.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
