      The Current Bug Fixing Status

The development team has conducted an investigation of possible root causes of inconsistencies and was able to find and address most of them. The work is currently in flight for regular user accounts (not customer accounts). The next step would be to perform a data reconciliation for affected customers.

      Issue Summary

Some Atlassian Accounts created via User Provisioning can't be added or found in any Projects.

Update: This bug also affects User attributes in JSM Assets.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a User Provisioning configuration with your Identity Provider (Azure is the most common service to experience this issue, but this was also reported for Okta as well)
      2. Provision a few users
      3. Now that the Atlassian Accounts have been provisioned, try to:
        • Add them to your Projects > People page
        • Search them into User Picker fields of open Service Projects

      Expected Results

Users will appear in the search results.

      Actual Results

      Users don't appear.

      Workaround

Disabling and then re-enabling the Atlassian Accounts of those affected on the Administration Hub (https://<yourinstance>.atlassian.net/admin/users) will ensure these users appear correctly in the search results mentioned.
