Description
Issue Summary
When integrating G Suite with a site that already belongs to an organization, and the user trying to set it up is a site-admin but not an organization admin, the setup will be started and the user will be prompt to create an organization. Since the site already belongs to another organization, an empty organization will be created and the integration won't happen.
Environment
- Have a user that is a site-admin but not an organization admin;
- An organization with a site linked.
Steps to Reproduce
- Login with a user that is a site-admin but not an organization admin;
- Start to set up G Suite with this user;
- The set up will prompt the organization creation;
- Follow the wizard to create the organization and conclude the configuration.
Expected Results
Prompt an error message informing that the integration cannot move forward as this site is already linked to another organization.
Actual Results
A new empty organization is created and the following errors are thrown:

In the console the following error is displayed:

Workaround
- Contact the site-admins to check which organization is linked. – This information can be checked over the site name as below:
- Once the organization is discovered, follow the steps on how to merge existing organizations using this documentation.
- Once the organizations are merged, the site-admins will become organization admins in the existing organization and will be able to proceed with the integration.
If you don't find the linked organization, please raise a ticket with Support.
