Warn admin if created user exist as a customer portal-only account

      Problem Definition

      If a user exists as a customer portal-only account, the same email can still be registered as an Atlassian user account

      Suggested Solution

      Warn the admin of the existing customer portal-only account when the admin tries to create the Atlassian user account

            Thank you for previously raising this suggestion and bringing it to our attention.

            Within our company roadmap and work capacity, we try to address or review each suggestion but admit that not all of them will be resolved. To continue the culture of being honest and open, we are closing this suggestion.

            As we continue to roll out features we do look at requests made by our users and if you feel like this suggestion is still important to your team please let us know.

            I think you should not just warn but convert custom portal account to Atlassian account. Ask admin then remove account from portal-only and add to internal, not leaving portal-only account in error state.
