There are really at least 2 profiles running around, each with their own avatar, their own user display name, etc. There's the wiki profile and the Jira profile, both which have to be updated and edited separately. It would be nice to combine them

            [ID-120] Combine Profiles

With the completion of introducing Atlassian account, we've not centralised profiles for all uses of an email address into a single account.
            Thanks,

            HI all.
Just popping in to increase the number of people requesting the feature:
I use JIRA + Btbucket and Confluence. One would expect that when JIRA shares users, also shares their avatar pictures as well as the rest os user data.
Shouldn't take so much to develop this.

I hope jira, confluence, fisheye and bamboo can use the same avatar which has already in Jira.

I'm having a similar issue to Erik where for our on-site installation:

            • Confluence has one avatar
            • Jira gets a different avatar
            • Stash asks Crowd which says to check with gravitar

            This could definitely be consolidated...

I have the same issue for an on-site installation. FishEye and Jira work shows up with different profiles for the same user in the activity stream in Jira. This is so even though FishEye is set to use Jira for user authentication.

I'm still waiting for this update.

Is there any update on this feature? When is it planned?
