"移行" is frequently used as the translation for "transition" in next-gen jsd project settings. "移行" is the term we use for "migration". In my understanding, the Japanese term for "transition" is "トランジション".

Hi Masahito, I have emailed you on this request, as there is quite a lot to change.

Hi c383681f6b03, Thanks for checking. I think you can update occurrences of "transition (移行)" to "トランジション" where switching issue status for consistency.

Hi @Masahito_Sugahara, hi @Ai Hirama thank you for following up. In terms of 'transition', could you let us know if there is a follow up action you want us to do? thanks.

ahirama I checked our Jira Cloud TM and found out that both were used. The usage of トランジション seems to be more prominent, and more importantly for consistency, I agree that we should follow what has been used in our translation.
On a different note, I think "issue" should be "案件" rather than "課題" considering what it does, but our users will be confused if we suddenly change it, so we probably will need to stick to it.

1fa8f36b8478 I agree that this term is a bit tricky one. However, for moving the issue between statuses, トランジション has already been used for a long time, so using a different term suddenly may cause confusion to users

I am adding some context here as this is a touchy issue with this term.
This is not a mistranslation rather preferential, but we certainly hope to achieve consistency.
Please see the link below on how even Microsoft struggles to translate this term consistently:
