Issue Summary

The date representation of the /date (or /datum?) command is not localized. In german for example, the short form should be 'Di., 15. Aug.' instead of 'Thu, 15 Aug' in the new editor.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Step 1.Create a page in new editor add ([]) check box and add ( // )calendar.
2. Step 2 Select a date , date is not translated in german language.

Expected Results: It should be 'Di., 15. Aug in the German language.

Actual Results: It shows in the English language 'Thu, 15 Aug'

Workaround

Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
