[I18N-2860] Bad encoding on an unpublished changes info popup in Polish

            Hi etom and kkepinski,

I've checked on the status of the PC ticket linked above and read that this issue was corrected. If you're still seeing the same problem persisting, please let me know and I will look into this.

            Many thanks,

            Melanie

Thanks kkepinski! I've put this string into TAC and marked it as accepted, but unfortunately this won't be picked up in-product until we migrate our backend over to use Transifex.

Here's a PC ticket you can watch for updates, if you'd like: https://hello.atlassian.net/browse/PC-6089

This particular string sits in a P2 plugin, and doesn't go through Transifex yet (as Nick pointed out).

My recommendation is that we update the string on TAC, but then wait until the Confluence backend migration to Transifex has happened to fix this issue. During the migration to Transifex, approved strings on TAC should be moved into Transifex so the updated translation will get picked up at that time.

kkepinski, are you able to tell what the incorrect characters could be instead? If you're able to provide me with the correct string we should display, I can go ahead and make that update on TAC (and then we'll need to wait for the migration to Transifex to complete before the fix is picked up).

If not, I'll create a request with Gengo.

It looks like this particular translation was created in January 2018 - you cansee it here. It has the same encoding problem on TAC as is shown in the screenshot.

There is not much I can do from my side since this translation doesn't live on Transifex and therefore I can't assign this to the translation quality people (external resources) to take a look at. Someone will need to follow up directly with Gengo to get this retranslated. etom can you take a look at this?

Another option would be for a Polish speaker to provide a correct translation which can then be copied into the code in place of this translation.

Edith - I'd encourage you to see if just this string has an encoding problem or if its a more widespread issue.

The people I mentioned in my prior comment would be a good place to start.

We copied this string (key: pagebanner.draft.status.discovery.body) from the Confluence Server team, so we don't have the original translated string in order to fix it up. cc/ nwright hrehioui
