    Description

Since the update to the new HipChat, I've noticed several feature regressions.

      1) Clicking the "X" closes the entire client, there is no way to leave it running only in the system tray.

      2) HipChat no longer uses my system notifications. I have mine set to appear in the lower left corner of my screen, HipChat displays them in ugly blocks on the lower right corner. Also, KDE does not detect the notifications, so they don't appear in my system notification area.

      3) Uploading files is finicky. I often have to close and reopen the client to get a file to upload and send.

      4) Middle-Click to close a conversation does not work. This is fairly standard. The middle-click-to-close gesture works in (among other applications) Chrome, Dolphin (file manager), Android Studio, and Firefox. It also worked in the old version of HipChat.

      5) The settings dialogue appears embedded in the HipChat client. That means I would not be able to open the settings dialogue without having the main window open, such as if I open it from the system tray. It brings the whole window to the front just to show settings.

Honestly, the new client looks nicer at first than the old client, but in use, it is slower and comparatively poorly integrated with the system. I feel like I'm using the web client wrapped in a minimal browser instead of a proper desktop client. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it is. Still, fixing the above issues would help a lot.
