      Current behavior

      HipChat Server does not currently support SAML-based authentication.

      Expected behavior

      Provide support for SAML for HipChat Server.

      Thanks for voting and commenting on this issue. Your feedback is key to helping us understand how you use HipChat so we can continue improving your experience.

      We're excited to announce that with HipChat Server 2.2, SAML 2.0 support is now available out of the box, giving teams a more secure and painless way to sign in. We support OneLogin and Okta right out of the box and you also have the option to use a custom SAML implementation if you use another identity provider.
