Description
Summary
A user with an Atlassian account and no HipChat account created can initiate login with HipChat and not get notified of account inexistent or invalid
Environment
- HipChat website
- Login page
Steps to Reproduce
- With an Atlassian only account (no HipChat associated)
- Login to HipChat by clicking in "Login" from http://www.HipChat.com
Expected Results
- If no HipChat account associated with the email address entered, we should provide a message:
We don't recognize that email address. Check it for typos or try your group domain
- If an account exist, we should proceed to the password screen, enter password and click in Log in
Actual Results
The user is prompted to enter password, then once clicking Log in the page will reload itself and not provide any error message.
Workaround
Ask the group administrator to create a HipChat account in the group with the email address.
