I've exchanged emails with HC support and it's my understanding there is no present support for running HC behind a Reverse Proxy.

I know you guys are still in Beta with this, but we would really like to see support (or at least ”try at your own risk” instructions) on how to configure HC with a Reverse Proxy – much like what is available for the other existing Atlassian tools (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Integrating+JIRA+with+Apache)

We presently run 6 licensed Atlassian tools behind a single DNS name via a Reverse Proxy here. Unfortunately no Reverse Proxy support for HC makes it highly unlikely that we will purchase it at this time. In fact it has almost completely halted our evaluation.

Please add support for this, or at minimum “unsupported” instructions on how to accomplish this.
